Könnt ihr mir i-welche Shops empfehlen, gibt ja massig wenn ma bei :google: sucht. Gibts auf der HP bzw. hier im Forum ne Linksammlung (mit Bewertungen) dafür? Hat man auch eine recht gute Auswahl bei solche Elektroläden wie z.B. MediaMarkt?
Sry, dass ich so viel frage, aber ich hab nicht so die Möglichkeiten lokal in Läden zu kommen :hm:. (Mit Ausnahme von Lebensmittelmärkten/Discountern ... aber die sin ja nicht für diesen Zweck da ...)

Nein, natürlich DVD-ROM.
"Physikalischer Disktyp" unterlässt nämlich das Bitsetting, falls es möglich ist.
Achso dann hab ich dich nicht verstanden gehabt. Dachte du meinst genau das. Dann bleibt also alles beim Alten bei +R, heist "Automatisch" lassen.
4163B passt noch, mit den guten 16x-Rohlingen wird er sicher keine Probleme haben

Kannst du die Firmware A106 empfehlen? Da gabs doch auch einen Beitrag hier im Forum ... Hatte aber keine Qualiscans bei cdfraks.com gefunden und auf der amerikanischen LG-Support-Seite gibts auch nur die A105.

Also 16x Rohlinge müssen es nicht unbedingt sein
[...] eventuell Plextor 16x DVD-R mit 8x.
Ich würde vor allem empfehlen:

Ich dachte Plextor stellt seit 2003 oder so keine Medien mehr eher.
Brennen mit 12x oder 8x dürfte bessere Ergebnisse bringen als 16x.
Dessen war ich mir schon i-wie bewusst, besonders bei meinem alten "Gestell". Zwar sollte man es wie ich mit 4x nicht ganz so untertreiben ... Wieso bin ich da nich früher drauf gekommen?! Ich konnte diese billigen Teile nur 4x schreiben. -> Ergo: Die Rohlinge wurden nicht korrekt erkannt. Naja, kein Wunder bei solchen Billig-DVDs (-.-)
Vll wird es doch mal Zeit sich einen neuen Brenner zuzulegen ...
Ob sich jetzt die 6 MB (4489 statt 4483 insgesamt bei DVD-R statt DVD+R) so groß auswirken, sei mal dahingestellt.
Bei mir is das leider bei einigen meiner Backups von Video-DVDs der Fall, was ich festgestellt habe als ich meine externe HDD aufräumen wollte. Denn diese sind meist 1-3 MB für eine +R zu groß. Un nochmal recoden bzw. re-recoden lassen is mir i-wie zu dumm. :hm:
Aber die DVD-R ist auch meinen Erfahrungen nach bei v.a. älteren Standalones nach wie vor kompatibler, zumindest solange bei DVD+R kein Bitsetting erfolgt.
Heist also beim nächsten Brennen mit Nero (Version 6.6 "Reloaded", wie es schon in der Log steht - bin ja mal gespannt, wann Ahead eine "Revolutions" Version rausbringt - ) Unter den Recorder-Optionen bei "Buchtypeneinstellung" im Dropdown-Menu "physikalischer Disktyp" auswählen oder?
Nebenbei: Bin mit Nero 6.6 zufriedener als mit dem Nero 7 buggy crap. Wie Version 8 is, kann ich nicht beurteilen, hatte nach 7 erstma genug :zunge:, denke aber eine schlimmere eierlegende Woll-Milch-Sau. :hm:

ich hab bisher mit meinem doch sehr betagten Brenner LG GSA-4163B (Firmware: A105) die Philips DVD+R 4x un TDK DVD+RW 4x Rohlinge genutzt. Als Überbrückung, also nicht für langzeit oder generell Archivierung, hab ich jedoch grade die Tevion +R 16x von ALDI (MID – heist doch Media ID, oder? – Plasmon 2C01 … jaja ich weis, von solchen Billigteilen kann man nicht vill halten … aber was soll ich machen? … auf die von LIDL umsteigen? *ernst* soweit ich weis waren das mal Ritek oder so)
Vll hat einer (noch) denselben Brenner oder kann mir auch so eine Rohlingempfehlung geben. Nun zu meinen zweiten Problem – ohne das erste überhaupt genannt zu haben :D: Ich will auf DVD-R umsteigen (damit das DVD-Forum mit seinen hoh(l)en Lizenzgebühren unterstützen un die innovativen Hersteller links liegen lassen :hm: … naja wer weis … vll werd ich auch zweigleisig fahrn), da die – was ich „theoretisch“ gelesen hab – eine größer Kapazität bieten. Trotzdessen, dass ich über die „besseren“ techn. Spezifikationen der +R/W Allianz informiert bin (is doch so? ).
Hab mir auch mal die Medienempfehlungen von LG selbst gegeben:
DVD-R: Maxell, Taiyo Yuden, JVC
DVD-RW: JVC, Mitsubishi Kagaku Media, TDK
DVD+R: Mitsubishi Kagaku Media, Verbatim
DVD+RW: TDK, FujiFilm, Ricoh
DVD-RAM: Maxell, Panasonic
DVD+R DL: Mitsubishi Kagaku Media
Kann mir aber beim besten Willen nicht vorstellen, dass diese JVC so gut sind. (Verbatim is doch ne Tochtergesellschaft von Mitsubishi, warum dann extra auf geführt?)
Nun zurück zum Hauptanliegen (^_^): Der LG brennt zwar die billigen Rohlinge, jedoch bei Lead-Out bzw. High-DVD-Compatibility kommt ein Fehler „Update PMU“ – oder ähnlich. Damit sin die DVDs ja nicht abgeschlossen.Nero Errorlogfile im nächsten Post!
Woran könnte das nun liegen? Brenner in die Jahre gekommen/am „Sterben“? Rohlinge nicht richtig erkannt? Bebrennbar müssten die eigentlich sein, da mein NEC ND6650A die frisst (wie „gut“ xD letztendlich die Quali is … naja das lassen wir lieber … es ging nur darum, DASS er sie ohne Fehler brennt ^^)
