Flash Video (FLV) Player

juten tach,

wer der holden "Weltöffentlichkeit" gern mal seine eigenen Videoencodings präsentieren möchte und sich nicht dem Formatewirrwarr (e.m.b.e.d.e.d DivX, Quicktime oder gar Windows Media) unterwerfen möchte, dem empfehle ich Flash. FFmpeg bietet zu Flix und Adobe z.B. eine alternative und vor allem freie Möglichkeit nach flv zu encodieren...

sofern gewünscht, möchte man seine Werke auch gern präsentieren und auch dabei auf eine freie Möglichkeit der Präsentation zurückgreifen.

Geradzu lobpreisen möchte ich daher den Flash Video (FLV) Player von Jeroen Wijering. Es war nie einfacher "Rich Media" Inhalte auf seinem webspace anzubieten und dabei eine absolute Vielfalt an Anpassungsmöglichkeiten auszuschöpfen.

Werft mal einen Blick auf die genannte Seite und werdet auch bzgl. anderer Flash-Player fündig...

aktuelle Version:

• 3.3: Various bugfixes. Added ATOM playlist support. Added watermark logo flashvar. Added display of bufferpercentages for streaming video. Setting the "category" of playlistitems to "commercial" will prevent skipping/scrubbing of the item. An item's title/author/link/file/id are broadcasted to javascript. Playlist contrast heightened.

• 3.5: Logo positioning bug has been fixed. Flashvar "shoqwfsbutton=false" has been reinserted to hide flash9 fullscreen button. Corrupt FLV's will be closed nicely, and nonexisting FLV's will be skipped nicely.
• 3.4: Various bugfixes. Added Flash9 fullscreen support. Added SMIL/SRT captions support. Added "list" value to the repeat flashvar to play a playlist once. Added lighttpd flv streaming support. Added additional parameters (title,link,image,id) to javascript loadFile(). Changed callback to incorporate viewing duration.

• 3.6: Updated javascript API. Detached filetypes from file extensions (files are recognizes by mimetype or the "type" flashvar). Captions per playlist-item. Captions on/off button & cookie. Playlist can be positioned at the right side (with the "displaywidth" flashvar). Option for 200%-sized controlbar for visually disabled. Some bugfixes.

• 3.7: Added runtime playlist editing for action- and javascript. Dozens of small enhancements and bugfixes. Revamped the readme and extras. Switched to SWF Object for *e*m*b*e*d*ding. More flexible 'old-style' fullscreen - no more flashcookies.

  Added (multitrack) Captionate captions.
  Added extra audiotrack (for accessibility or director's comments).
  Added flashvar for return of an ID with javascript updates. "showicons=false" will also hide the controlbar in overlay mode. 'start' value now works for HTTP/RTMP streams; playlist will auto-highlight new chapters.
  Added FLV deblocking toggle so large movies (>480px) will perform better.
  Various bugfixes.
