Doch, habe ich probiert, es hilft teilweise:
Ich hatte bisher 3 DTS Audiostreams, die mit Hybrid 110101 durch Neroumkodierung verkürzt wurden.

Stream A ist nicht mehr da, hatte dann aften und nicht nero genommen. Keine weiteren Tests möglich.

Stream B war der über den ich bisher immer berichtet hatte. Auch der geht mit dem Hybrid 110217 nicht und bleibt verkürzt (ging auch nicht bei anklicken der Normalisierung). Testproblem hierbei, habe nicht mehr den Originalcontainer, sondern nur den DTS Stream.

Stream C: Ist verkürzt bei Hybrid 110101, zeigte den gleichen Fehler an wie Stream B bei Aufruf mit NeroAAC direkt. Dieser Audiostream wurde aber mit Hybrid 110217 korrekt umgewandelt.

Soweit dazu, will jetzt nochmals am anderen (schnelleren) PC testen. Falls andere Resultate kommen, melde ich mich.

Anmerkung:
Es ist auf XP sehr lästig 2 Versionen von Hybrid installiert zu haben, da ich Hybrid nicht mitteilen kann, nimm jetzt diesen Pfad für die globalen Einstellungen und bei der anderen Version diese. Kann man zwar bei InputPath einstellen, Win XP läßt aber nicht zu, daß man dann den 'geschützten Anwendungsdatenpfad' aus Dokus und Einstellungen angibt und direkt eingeben geht auch nicht.
So kopiere ich denn das Zeugs ständig hin und her, dadurch wird aber verhindert, daß ich 2 Hybridversionen nebeneinander laufen lassen kann.
Etwas nervig....

DTS Problem

Auf Vorschlag von Faust hatte ich den Audiostream 1 min und 1 min nach der Stelle, wo zunächst der Abbruch durch NeroAACEnc auftrat mit delaycut ausgeschnitten.

Siehe da, der ausgeschnittene Audistream wird problemlos mit diesem Befehl:
"Cffmpeg.exe" -threads 2 -v -10 -y -i "D:\1.dts" -acodec pcm_s16le -f wav - | "neroAacEnc.exe" -if - -br 448000 -ignorelength -of "D:\1.aac"

umgewandelt.
Dann habe ich nochmal den gesamten Audiostream mit delaycut umgewandelt (d.h. von Anfang bis Ende ausgeschnitten) und auch der so entstandene Stream wird vom NeroAACEnc ohne Murren umgewandelt.

Dazu paßt, daß Selur schreibt, der Stream wird bei Normalisierung (was ja auch mit einer einmaligen Umschreibung des Streams einhergeht?) auch anstandlos von NeroAAC umgewandelt wird.

Das heißt für mich, der initiale Audiostream hatte irgendwie einen Fehler, den manche Programme (die Umwandlung oder auch delaycut) ignorieren und ausbessern können, andere (NeroAACEnc) aber nicht.

=> Just leave it, ist nicht der Mühen wert.

PS: Faust, daher habe ich jetzt den verkürzten Stream nicht hochgeladen, kannst ja nix mit anfangen, wenn dann alles schnurrt.

Ähem, ja.... nun habe ich es gesehen....
War mir nicht klar, dass der Knopf auch fürs Encoding gilt.
Also, wenn ich da normalisieren anklicke, wird das auch auf NeroAAc angewendet.
Versuche es morgen mal....

Welche Normalisierung? Ich sehe das nicht auf dem Audiofeld in Hybrid.

Nach ausführlichem Testen (v.a. von Selur):
Es ist ein Problem mit dem neroaacenc, taucht aber nicht bei jedem DTS-Stream auf und v.a. auch nicht regelmäßig bei langen Streams (> 3 h). Ich konnte schon einen langen Stream erfolgreich umwandeln.

Ja, wenn Intermediate Files aufbewahrt werden, hat der DTS Stream die richtige Länge
(funktioniert ja auch, wenn ich nicht neroencoder nehme, d.h. Extraktion ist ok)

6. Falls der Track nicht mit Hybrid sondern mit einem anderen Tool aus dem Ursprungscontainer extrahiert wurde, wären genauere Infos hierzu hilfreich.

neues Problem?
Verkürzung des Audios bei Umcodierung von DTS in AAC.

Ich habe versucht einen Film, dessen Audio in DTS vorliegt, umzuencoden. Das gewünschte Audio soll mit Nero encoded werden und AAC sein.

Habe nun mal das Video passthrough gemacht und nur Audio umcodiert, das Problem aber bleibt, nämlich das Audio ist verkürzt und daher ca. die 2. Hälfte des Films ohne Ton. Interessanterweise ist das verkürzte Audio bei 2-maligem Versuch immer gleich kurz. Verwende ich AC3 (mit aften) statt Neros AAC funktioniert es tadellos.

Habe BugReport vorliegen und kann die Datei irgendwo deponieren (PM?).

Selur: Kein Fehler in Hybrid, sondern falsch geauthored DVD.

Sehr verständlich, was Du schreibst. Daher hatte ich ja schon erwähnt, das ich nicht genau weiß, wann das Prob auftaucht.

Aber, ich habe gerade folgendes gelesen:
Player, die nicht auf DirectShow aufsetzen (Paradebeispiel: VLC), müssen die Unterstützung für AR-Flags (Aspect Ratio) direkt eingebaut haben.

Weiß nicht, ob die Aspect Ration in der VTS_01_0.IFO anders angegeben ist als in der VTS_01_1.VOB. Keine Ahnung, wie ich das Prüfen kann. EVtl. kann ich dir das ja irgendwie zukommen lassen, dann läßt es sich evtl. reproduzieren..

Mensch, ich wollte auch schon posten, daß das Auslesen der PAR bei DVDs nicht korrekt funktioniert..... hatte dann aber Selur geglaubt, daß Hybrid die PAR korrekt ausliest. Dann habe ich mit der von Hybrid vorgeschlagenen PAR 1896:1000 encoded und siehe da, der Kreis (Logo) zu Beginn des Films kein Kreis ist, sondern in die Breite gezogen. Für mich war damit auch klar, daß das Auslesen der PAR bei manchen DVDs fehlerhaft ist.

Hab dann PAR Wissen angelesen, ne PAR von 1459:1000 angegeben und alles wird gut bzw. kreisrund. Da ist also irgendwie ein Wurm drin, und diesen Fehler begeht der VLC Player auch, wenn man eine VOB Datei der DVD direkt anklickt und in VLC anschaut. VLC macht den Fehler nicht, wenn man die IFO-Datei auswählt, Hybrid schon (DVD Folder auswählen). Genauere Angaben, wann der Fehler kommt, kann ich nicht machen. Hatte aber gerade bei EncodingWissen.de gelesen, daß die PAR auf der DVD nicht vermerkt ist. (und die wunderbare Welt der Amelie Bilder bewundert, die hier ja auch schon mal gepostet waren).

Zusammen: Hybrid erkennt manchmal PAR nicht korrekt und nimmt dann 1896:1000 statt der 1459:1000. Der Stream ist dann voll breit ;)))

Ok, so ungefähr habe ich mir das schon gedacht. Immer besser Original unverändert zu haben.

Deshalb wären ja (für mich, wenn ich alles richtig verstanden habe) 2 Vorgehensweisen denkbar (bei beiden natürlich primär croppen):
1. Pixelzahlen (Weite u Höhe) und Pixel Aspect Ratio beibehalten
2. Pixel Aspect Ratio in quadratische Pixel ändern und damit Pixel (Weite und Höhe) ändern.

Was ist besser?

PS: Wäre natürlich nicht schlecht, wenn man am TV das Verhältnis umschalten kann, also dann beim Abspielen wählen kann, ok ich akzeptiere jetzt mal Eierköpfe, damit ich nen volles Bild habe. Macht meiner aber nicht, kann zwar das Bild aufblasen (echtes zoomen), dann geht aber je nachdem in der Vertikalen oder Horizontalen etwas über den Jordan und wird nicht mehr angezeigt.

Wie macht es Hybrid eigentlich mit den Seitenverhältnissen?
Beim Umkodieren von 3 verschiedenen DVDs entstehen folgende Seitenverhältnisse:
1. 16:9 (so wie ich es gerne möchte) Dies scheint also echtes 16:9 zu sein.
2. 2.35:1 (Cinemascope).
Dies geschieht, obwohl Anklicken der DVD IFO-Datei (VTS_01_0.IFO) und Abspielen mit VLC MediaPlayer am PC ein 16:9 Bild ohne Balken zeigt. Interessanterweise zeigt VLC bei direktem Anklicken einer VOB-Datei derselben DVD auch 2.35:1. Der enstandene x264 Stream zeigt natürlich auch im VLC Player keine schwarze Streifen, wohl aber auch meinem TV abgespielt von ner Mediabox.
3. 16:9 aber mit schwarzen Streifen (also wohl als Letterbox enkodierte DVD im Cinemascope).

Folgende Fragen:
Bei Möglichkeit 2: Was ist eigentlich das 'richtige' Format bei sowas? Kann ich das in der Höhe verzerren, um auf 16:9 zu kommen und das im TV abspielen ohne Balken?

Bei Möglickeit 3: Kann ich das auch auf 16:9 verzerren, also die Höhe vergrößern und die Balken loswerden?

Bin etwas unschlüssig, will ich lieber das 'richtige' Format (Cinemascope) oder keine schwarzen Balken haben. Was ist ratsam?

Selur hat das Problem behoben und mir die intermediate Version von Hybrid zur Verfügung gestellt, damit klappt es wunderbar.

Was fürn Würfel ich verwende:
Emtec Mediacube N200 aber mit ner anderen Software drauf (AC-Ryan). Das DTS Format soll er auch spielen können, aber man muß dann an der Kiste immer hin und her schalten, das will ich nicht.

Er spielt allerdings das AAC Nero Format ohne Probleme, ich habe nun mal die Dateigröße bei einem 2.5 h Film (1920x1020 Video in allen gleich) verglichen (alle Audios 6 channels, 48 kHz):
DTS 1536 kpbs: 8.50 GB
AAC (Nero) 16 bit resoluton: 7.14 GB
AC3 384 kpbs: 7.21 GB

Ok, ich höre keine Unterschiede, lasse zwar das Audio über nen Verstärker und einigermaßen Boxen laufen, habe aber nicht wirklich nen Superteil da stehen.

Ich finde Hybrid ein Supertool, doch habe ich leider nun ein Problem. Ich versuche bei einer MKV-Datei den Videostream unverändert zu lassen (passthrough) und nur den Audiostream neu zu codieren. Die Umcodierung aus DTS in AAC (Nero) funktioniert, aber wenn ich AC3 wähle (use aften ist aktiviert), hängt das Programm bei der Audioerstellung. Ich muß das machen, da mein Mediacube DTS nicht gerne mag....

Der Befehl aus dem Job, der hängt:
aften -v 2 -b 384 - "D:\00_Video\1ac3_eng_aid_0__17_37_06_621_02.ac3"

Die entstandene Zwischendatei (Audio) ist sehr klein 1,536 kB.

Jo, nu geht's..... ALLES GUT, super Programm das HYBRID.

Beide Lösungswege funzen:
1. Aktivierung von:
Config->Container Settings->mkv Settings->Disable mkv header compression
2. Von Hand mit tsMuxeR gemuxter Stream läuft auch, ist dann aber kein Matroshka Container.
3. Möglichkeit:
Im Hbrid nen anderen Container wählen....habe m2ts dort probiert, ging auch.

Hab jetzt nochmal mit Mediainfo nachgesehen. Dabei fällt mir auf, daß beim Originalstream deutlich mehr Informationen zur Videodatei erscheinen als bei dem frisch gemuxten Stream (s.u.).

Hallo,
so in etwa hatte ich mir auch eine einfache Lösung vorgestellt.
Habe einen Stream, der als AVC High@L5.1V_MPEG4/ISO/AVC 16/9 23.976 fps
vorliegt. Er hat noch Audio und Untertitel. Letztere will ich nun entfernen, Hybrid meldet Erfolg (Video: Passthrough und Audio ausgewählt).

Der Originalstream wird auf meinem Moviecube gespielt, ABER nicht mehr der Stream nach dem demuxen von Video und Audio und wieder zusammenmuxen mit Hybrid..... Video geht nicht, Audio ist da. Video wird auf dem PC mit VLC abgespielt.
Der Moviecube ist ein EMTEC N200, wie kann das denn sein????
