changed the defaults for file associations mainly removed everything to not polute the system

the audio dialog has a new layout because the bsn GUI didn't fit in the old one

the AviSynth menu in the main dialog uses now different names as category name and as category region name because of problems with the translation. In the settings where the menu can be customized, the property grid used for this has now help text for all properties. The menu settings and the scripts of course had to be reseted.

GUI support for the new bsn switches, please suggest a default profile. The required libraries will be copied if possible

the colorspace for DVD2AVI can be specified

double click in the preview switches between fullscreen/normal view, the window can be moved with the left mouse as well

added the possibility to jump to the previous or next range start or end in the preview, Ctrl + Up/Down is range jump now and chapter jump is now Shift + Up/Down by default

the plugins settings display the plugin version and the description will now be displayed as well for plugins that are not loaded and it will be displayed if a plugin is loaded or not, old plugins will failed to load and have to be removed from the plugin dir if a error message pops up, recompiled plugins are included

new plugin called Windows Media Native, it creates native Windows Media WMV files, note: DVX can also create avi, mkv and ogm files with Windows Media 9 codec. The plugin requires Windows Media Encoder 9 to be installed. Cutting is not supported

the plugin editor uses now like the AviSynth editor the SharpDevelop text editor control so there is syntax highlighting

support for image based subtitles using vsrip and mkvmerge, support to set the aspect ratio flag with mkvmerge to avoid resizing, the order of the subtitles can be changed via context menu

added the possibility to encode with VirtualDub instead of VirtualDubMod, the DVX audio profiles are not compatible with VirtualDub but VirtualDub is very limited anyway. If mkvmerge is enabled the VirtualDub/Mod scripts audio processing/muxing scripts won't be processed. As usual the assistent should give a notice about incompatible settings

The AviSynth script editor has a new version of the text editor control with various changes like line numbers, selecting lines when the cursor is on the left side. It scrolls now with the mouse selection.

added advanced setting to restrain the standby or shutdown if a given program is running for instance a DVB application records a schedule

renamed BeSweet settings to "Command" and added the possibility to add multible lines which will then be processed as batch

the advanced settings and advanced options have a translated and better interface

the assistent options have been moved from the advanced options to a own settings page

the demuxing settings for avi are separated from the demuxing settings for mpeg2

replaced the hybrid option with a fast deinterlace option in the main dialog

changing the size by selecting a compressibility percent value is now precise so the assistenr won't complain

opening a audio file with no audio settings won't calculate the size of the file any longer but there is a new profile for calculating the size only

the program verification before the encoding will only check programs that will be actually used in the process

AviSynth profiles weren't saved

the preview/crop crashed on systems with 16 bit resolutions

radio check wasn't displayed for the codec menu items

DVX reseted decoder settings for XviD and DivX in previous versions because the codecs save the encoder and decoder settings in the same registry key and DVX saves and retrieves the entire registry key. Decoder settings will now be ignored for XviD and DivX

chapter data wasn't passed to VirtualDubMod for mkv files (it's recommend to use the mkvmerge plugin for mkv files)

warning about comma in filepath wasn't shown in all cases (not supported by the DVD2AVI CLI)
