Hi,
bin quasi Neuling in Sachen AAC und hab bisher:
DVB mp2 Ton --> AAC CBR/Stero HE 80kbit/sec mit OagMachine kodiert, klingt soweit ganz gut.
Nun kommt aber multichannel ins Spiel:
OagMachine Guide hab ich mir soweit angeguckt, dazu folgende Fragen:
ZitatAll you have to set is set LFE to LR Channels to -3db and leave the rest unchecked.
Warum??
ZitatFor 5.1ch AAC output you should select 5.1 (new) to get proper channel mapping unless you're using an early build of Nero.
das jetzt hart, ab welcher Version soll man denn nun new wählen.
ZitatSet Dynamic compression to normal to get about the same dynamic range as when you play the DVD on your PC/TV.
Using Normalize to 100% of MaxGain to ensure that you won't have to turn up the volume when listening to the output. Checking HybridGain will apply a 10dB gain and the rest of the possible gain would be applied after encoding (so only one pass is necessary rather than two). For the moment, this only works for Vorbis output (but there you should use it). In AAC mode, the audio has to be processed twice regardless of whether HybridGain is selected or now.
ZitatIf you're using the High Efficiency (HE) profile, you'll need a decoder that is capable of handling the special encoding mode. CoreAAC, or the 3ivX decoder can handle the format so you can safely use it in your movies if one of these decoders is installed. Most AAC capable hardware players today can only handle the LC profile, and playing a HE profile encoded stream on a player that can only handle the LC profile will result in really bad audio quality.
ZitatNo matter what you configure, keep in mind that AAC, especially with the HE profile, is more efficient than MP3, so you won't need the same bitrate to get the same results.
ZitatFor reasons that are not a 100% determined, 48KHz output when using Nero as external encoder doesn't quite seem to work, and downsampling is the only solution to get it right
