Probleme mit Gui for dvdauthor

  • Hallo!
    Bekomme immer folgende Fehlermeldung, wenn ich eine DVD mit Menü und mehreren .vobs erstellen möchte:

    Habe schon herausgefunden das es an der Hintergrundanimation liegt. Die Datei die ich dazu benutze hat folgende MediaInfo


    Woran liegt es, das GFD den Vorgang abbricht?

  • Vielleicht hättest du dann eines der Presets "... für DVD-Architekt" verwenden sollen, damit der Encoder bei der Encodierung den VBV-Pufferfüllstand überprüft.

    Eine maximale Bitrate von 9,5 Mbps ist aber auch "irre hoch".

    Der schlimmste Fehler, den ein DVD-Produzent machen kann, ist der Versuch, alles bis aufs letzte Bit ausquetschen zu wollen, ohne jede Reserve.

  • DVDAuthor überprüft relativ pingelig die Bitrate in jeder GOP durch Simulation des DVD-Player-Pufferfüllstandes. Da kann man nicht sagen, dass eine bestimmte exakte Bitrate das Maximum wäre. Es hängt immer davon ab, wie sich die Bitrate und damit der simulierte Füllstand über einen kurzen Zeitraum von 1/2 bis 1 Sekunde entwickelt. Bei dem einen Videoinhalt funktioniert die Encodierung mit 9,5 Mbps Maximum (solange die durchschnittliche Bitrate wesentlich darunter liegt), bei einem anderen können auch 9,0 Mbps Maximum noch zu viel sein (evtl. weil der Durchschnitt über kürzere Zeit anhaltend nahe am Maximum liegt).

    Ein guter und DVD-konformer MPEG2-Encoder überprüft schon während der Encodierung, ob vorgegebene Grenzen überschritten werden. Aber wer die Grenzen zu optimistisch festlegt, der erlebt eben später beim Authoring seine böse Überraschung.

    Ein Maximum über 8 Mbps und ein Durchschnitt über 6 Mbps sollten wohl eher selten wirklich notwendig sein...
