DVD Shrink - Aktuelle Infos

    Das mit dem Download ist so eine Sache. Den Link von SillKotscha funzt nicht und bei dvdshrink.org bekomme ich eine Fehlermeldung "ANTI LEECH PROTECTION SYSTEM". Kann mir da bitte jemand einen Trick verraten?!

    NB: Ich habe Instant CD/DVD gekauft und bin damit auf die Werbung hereingefallen! Das Teil ist unbefriedigend, brennt nicht recht oder bricht ab usw. Eigentlich nur Ärger. Der einzige Vorteil von IC8 ist zur Zeit, dass sich einzelne Filmteile, z.B. die Extras, komplett ausschalten lassen. Wenn das bei DVDShrink auch funktionieren würde, wäre das genial!

    Shrink 3.2 ist Klasse.
    Habe es gegen CCE Basic und 2 Passes getestet.
    CCE brauchte 2,5 Stunden Shrink 54 Minuten und die
    Bildqualität ist nicht zu unterscheiden.

    Da vergleicht mal wieder einer Äpfel mit Birnen! :D

    Wichtig für mich: Shrink ist in der Lage die Performance meines Systems voll auszunutzen, was andere Programme (CCE) nicht schaffen.
    Den Vergleich der Ergebnisse mache ich dabei nicht ;).

    Ich würde das gar nicht so sehr an der Kompressionsrate festmachen, da jede Source andere Eigenschaften hat. Was zählt ist doch letztlich die Komprimierbarkeit an sich. In meinen Tests der Betaversionen war ich teilweise sehr überrascht, wie sehr sich die Komprimierbarkeit unterscheidet.
    Wenn im Original noch einiges an Reserve drin steckt ist DVDShrink schon OK, in härteren Fällen muß doch neu encodet werden. Im schlimmsten Fall muß die Putzfrau mit dem Filterscript her....
    Theoretisch wäre ein DL-DVD denkbar, die nahezu den ganzen Platz durch schwieriges Videomaterial aufbraucht und keinerlei Reserven mehr bietet. Dann müßten wohl DVDShrink als auch CCE passen.
    (Übel ist z.B. die DVD "Dune-Special Collectors Edition" - 181min, 4:3, interlaced - die sieht schon im Original teilweise besch..... aus)
